Here are this mornings discharges from Folsom Dam ( shot from Folsom Crossing ) and Nimbus Dam ( shot from Hazel Ave. ) into the American River.

That makes for tough wading! But fish will be concentrated at certain areas and travel lanes........like the freaking Parkway bike trails!!! :)

For those of who may remember........that's nothing compared to 1997. I remember walking on the south levee at River Park and seeing the water pretty close to the roadbase of the H Street Bridge. The entire golf course was under 20 feet of water!!! I wonder what the CFS was then???

As I recall, the 1986 and 1997 winter storms, it was around 134,000-135,000cfs, which is well above design flow. Almost took out the Nimbus Hatchery.
