With the warm temps this last week, there is a lot of open water available for fishing at Davis. Most of the east side is easily accessible and you can drive down to the lake at Coot Bay and Mallard Cove. Saw several fish midging this morning and only one angler on the lake in a kayak. There is a slight film of ice near the dam, but a lot of open water north of the dam.
