While this scud pattern looks ok, for fishing the skinny water (6"-2ft.) at Eagle Lake it would be to heavy and hang up. Now if your playing Tom Lowe's bobber game over the rock piles out of a boat I can see the advantage here. I prefer John Barr's pattern as featured on the sidebar of my blog. Blending Antron and Jay Fair's glister brings success on any water. Keep it simple.
