A little more expansive description would be nice, I think only hard core collectors know any of the details of these rods.

Lenght, weight, graphite or glass ? # of sections ?

photos ?

I have emailed as well without a reply. Do you want to sell them or not?

If they are Jimmy Green fly rods they would be fiberglass and probably around 1960s.

The late Jimmy Green was a tournament caster and head rod designer for Fenwick rod company back in the day.

As the seller states they are Jimmy Green of Sonoma rods. I dont believe the rod maker is the same Jimmy Green of Fenwick fame. Ive seen a few rods from the Jimmy Green of Sonoma rods and the history given made it clear that they in no way were made by the Jimmy Green that is associated with fenwick. Interested buyers may want to do some research first before purchasing...or from the sounds of it TRYING to purchase these rods. Kevin

I too have a Jimmy Green rod. This was a proto type that Jimmy gave my friend at the GG casting ponds back in the 60's. It's a 10' glass that I throw for salmon. Caught many Silvers in AK when I worked up there in the late 70's. His company name then I belive was Grizzly. He then sold it to Fenwick when he went to work for them. If the Rajeffs read this board they could add to this as Steve was close to Jimmy.
