ACR 7/8 switch - reel match

I just bought an ACR 7/8 switch rod and want to match it with a Ross Big game reel. What size Ross Big Game should be matched with this rod? I'm new to the switch game and not sure what size reel should be matched to this rod.

Any recommendation/suggestions would be appreciated.

The rule of thumb is to match up the rod with a reel two sizes larger than the rod... Jeff Putnam recomends this in one of his videos.... Frank

If you are set on a Ross BG then probably the 4 or 5. If you're throwing a skagit you might have to bump up to the 5 for capacity.

I've got a BG5 on an ACR 10'9 5/6 and I'm happy with it.
