The pattern description is available in the archives of this BB at:

There's a photo and recipe in the middle of the thread. You might try Idylwilde Flies as well.....

Darien, thanks for taking the time to answer..., but I have been there already too. If you look you will see that it was a guesstimate with lots of question marks. I have a receipe that some of the local Gold Country Fly Fishers use, but I was hoping for the "correct" version that Hogan uses (was kinda hoping Hogan might even chime in :D ). The Idywilde site doesn't give the receipe, nor does Hogan's site.

Hey guys...sorry I am not big on giving out recipes for flies as I pay family bills with fly sales. If I start telling people how to tie my flies they won't have to buy them anymore. I will say with this fly the important materials are easy to find and the silhoutte is more important then exact material matches. hopefully that helps.

Even with an exact recipe, I still find it very useful sometimes to just buy the fly and take it apart wrap-by-wrap. Can learn a lot about how a fly is really put together.

Hogan, thanks for chiming in. I respect you position. Guess I should have quizzed you when you were at our Gold Country Fly Fishers Meeting. Take Care, and Tight lines..

Appears to be: standard wire nymph hook (2XS might be better for larger gape) glass bead head, pheasant tail for the tail, wire rib, thread abdomen, Flashabou wingcase (pearl or opal, hard to tell), peacock herl thorax, Flashabou Accent legs. Personally prefer Mercer's Micro-Mayfly, which is pretty much the same thing (omit the stripped peacock abdomen for a faster tie). I really like these thread bodied mayfly patterns that have been cropping up the last few years. A normal PT seems too bulky by comparison.

That is one of my fav flies now that I've released some nice rainbows on the Mo last summer. Chris the owner at Crosscurrent Fly shop didn't carry them but he was there when I landed a 23 & 24" rainbow. He might be a potential client for you.
I just had a friend bring me a dozen from Harrop's on the Henry's fork.
Great fly man, keep 'em coming.
