Went on a short morning session with a friend a few days ago. Had to leave when the bite was getting good since the boss was calling. We got into a few schoolies with my friend landing the biggest fish of the day at 7lbs.

That picture of you hooked up at sunset really makes me miss my time out on the delta....... I had a few nice 'rallies' at sunset back when I would go often...... Even when the fish weren't cooperative at sunset, those golden chrome sunlit skies at dusk on the delta are fabulous.

It sure was a nice fall day here in Placer County today. As I watched my kids play soccer, I couldn't help but take a glance towards Mt. D. and sigh.
