Just found an easy to follow tutorial on getting started with HDR photography. HDR is High Dynamic Range. This is a three part series. The first part "Setting Up Your Digital Camera for HDR Shooting" is found here - http://www.digital-photography-school.com/setting-up-your-digital-camera-for-hdr-shooting

According to the article - the HDR process is accomplished by taking multiple exposures of a high contrast scene (usually a landscape or cityscape), at different levels of brightness, and then combining the best light from each exposure into one image.

The results are stunning and are demonstrated with an image shot with normal settings and the second using the HDR techniques.

I recall some HDR photos from Adam Grace that were posted in this forum about a year ago that first piqued my interest.

This is very exciting. HDR (bracketing) is a very inovative technique for capturing amazing images. I will definitly read thru your link. This is something I really want to learn.

My good friend Curtis Mix is an amazing professional photographer. I have been out on shoots with him a few times now and theres just so much to learn. He is very in tune to HDR photography. Please check out his work. http://curtismix.smugmug.com/Nature/The-short-list/11279674_kiMSu#791386782_M68Xd
