I have an old picture of veteran fly fisher Neil Hansen (from the great generation) and I on the Trinity River this time of year but maybe 25 years back.
It is dark, sprinkling a little and we are in waders and raincoats on the banks of the Trinity drinking coffee (that is steaming) and smoking a cigarette.
It's a really emotional photo for me. If I can find it I will scan it and get it up here some day.
