Saw about 40 Salmon today in an area that had 0 2 days ago. Looks like the rain really got things going...

Caught a 17" planter Saturday morning drifting/swinging a tan/orange Fox's Poopah (about size 14 or 16), plus one 7" wild smolt on the same. Saw a ton of fish porpoising for what appeared to be trico's at the tail of a long flat pool (the trico's were motionless on the surface, compared to the BWO's that had some life). Didn't have enough time to seriously fish them.

Doesn't look like the river went up much.... cfs says 1450 or so. Haven't been out lately... duck season started.

This is probably an ignorarnt question but has salmon season on the AR passed already? If not, when does it start?
