These Nanos were and still are among the most advanced rod designed. Feels like an 8wt in the hand. Perfect baby Tarpon rod. Originally retailed for around $600.

Get this one for $225.

I have to agree with your assessment. The NTi #7 that came out some 10 years ago, IMO, is still the best distance casting fly rod I've ever casted.... In hand weight was something that of a #5 or extremely light #6.

I heard the #10 NTi is a heck of a tarpon rod.
