Trekked up to Kirman Sat. around 2:00p or so and fished til only 5:30p. Glad we didn't rush up there to fish in the AM as everyone said it was slow. One here, two there, or ZERO. BUT there were schools of mini-subs in there. It was amazing. I haven't seen so many big boys in there. BUT they don't bite much. BUT I finally got a 19" obese brookie buck on a big olive rabbit strip BH leech thingy I tied. But that was it.
And Scott V., we drove down a couple of those dirt roads from the Marine side, but couldn't find one that lead to the river that didn't have a closed gate. But by looking at the mountain, it sure looks like work as you described. Thx.
