2nd Annual Kings River Fundraiser and Awareness Event
Saturday, October 30th - 10AM to 4PM
Location: Choinumni Park

Announcing the 2nd Annual Kings River Fundraiser and Awareness Event. We are rallying to raise funds for additional DFG warden hours on the lower Kings River. Last year''s funds were used successfully in implementing additional hours resulting in citations and warnings.
To kick off this event, a free Barbecue will be hosted by the Kings River Conservancy, Fresno Fly Fishers, Kaweah Fly Fishers and Sierra Fly Fisher Guide Service. The event will will include a bonus of casting instruction from FFF certified instructor Dan Busby along with demonstrations by local fly tyers.

Admission to Choinumni Park will be waived for event attendees.

* located 33 miles east of Fresno near Piedra on the Kings River
From downtown Fresno, drive east on Highway 180 (Ventura Street) 17.5 miles to Piedra Road, turn left on Piedra Road and drive 8.2 miles to where Piedra Road intersects with Trimmer Springs Road. Turn right on Trimmer Springs Road and drive one mile to Pine Flat Road. Turn right on Pine Flat Road and go about 100 yards to the entrance of Choinumni Park on the right.

on the lower Kings River. We depend on your generous support each year
to keep the pressure on violators. You are helping to change the behavior of resource users on the Lower
Kings.

43.5 hours of Kings River Conservancy overtime used and 69 hours of

36.5 hours of Kings River Conservancy overtime used and 38.5 hours of
general DFG time.

First time I saw the post. I'm definitely will be attending this year. Although I don't trout fish, these waters are located in my back yard. If anyone from the Sac area or any area is planning on attending, you can come by my house and I will drive you out there.

this is an amazing winter river. if you go, please be on the look out and report all poachers :( they messs up the c&r area :(

fish there once and youll care about this place . :)
