Sage RPLX 9 foot , 10 weight , model 1090-3 , 3 section w/ tube and sock -
Rod is in very good shape , a few scrapes on the reelseat , minor scratches on first stripping wrap . Absolute cannon for Stripers/Kings/Roosters/Dorado , will beat down anything stupid enough to eat your fly . $200.00

Pflueger 1496 1/2 (6-rivet spool) , old (1950's) reel -
Fair paint loss , guts are good - these are getting hard to find in this rare size anymore . Bass Bug/Stripers/old school Steelhead , could even work well on a mid-sized Spey rod . $60.00

Prefer local pickup , must sell , dire Family emergency . 916-536-9590

Thank you for looking !

I'm very interested in the Teton 9-11. What are the specs on that beast? If it's the right size, consider it sold...

Hi Fats .

4-inch diameter , take enough 30 or 36 Lb. Micron to make you wish whatever you hooked didn't run so friggin' far , weight is 9?? Ounces , type 2 anodized ....

The Teton 9-11's were my standard heavy beach reels in Baja , and I never needed or wanted anything more . It is a crime that the company went under because the reels worked in the REAL world without being too expensive . Abel and Tibor were three times as much , and had the same finish ..... I guess fish don't really care what you catch them on , eh ?

I fished Tetons in the salt for quite a while , never had an issue .

I'll take the reel off your hands, but we've got to figure out how I can get it. I'm not going to be out your way for a bit. If you're cool with mailing it, I'll pick up the shipping.
