wow, that fish almost looks like a salmon with his dot patterning that way. I made it out Thursday evening, landed one hp, missed a real nice fish as well (still bummed about it). Friday evening and this morning got skunked.

It does look like a Salmon, there are tons of Jacks in the river right now. Anyone else???

Nah, chromies steelhead. White gums, round spots on the head.

I vote trout.

pink band and rosy operculum, many spots on pectoral fin, dotted dorsal fin

No salmon there.
