Headed to River Rest campground with the kids this weekend. Anybody have any experience fishing the area?
Will the water be to low and warm?
Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks.

Camped from friday to sunday with the family (wife +4 kids)and my 9yr olds school. Didn't get the chance to fish all weekend, but had a great time camping. Packed up Sunday and sent the family home then took off on a little adventure up Washington Rd.
Came to a state park picnic area and hiked up stream about 1/2 mile.
It was raining off and on, just the perfect temp for boulder hopping.
Found some fish willing to come to the surface to eat my fly. Lost the first 3 before inspecting my fly only to find the point was missing. Of course the biggest one of the day was one of the 3. After a quick fly change it was a fish or 2 out of each pocket. All beautiful rainbows. When they stopped coming to the surface I tried a little high sticking and managed a few more before having to head home to clean and dry out all the camping gear.
Only had my phone for picts hope you like them.
