Kokes on the Truckee today. Browns hanging under each and every pod. Saw the same thing on the Rubicon, Yuba and Mokelumne. Early runs this year.

Not sure how to do the thumbnail thing, but I upload mine to photobucket first then copy the img link and paste it into my posts. I think you can upload straight from your comp though when you add it as a thumbnail but I'm drawing a blank on how to do that exactly right now.

I do it the way Jeff does it -- i.e., upload them to my Photobucket.com account (free sign-up) and then just copy the IMG link into my post. Very easy to do it that way.

Big browns Ralph, or just standard ones? Should I get out the 8wt and tie a whole reddish/green rabbit skin to a 2/0 hook?

Flesh flies on a 6 weight should be fine. Good luck not snagging the kokes.

Really cool shot, Ralph.

My family was in Tahoe last fall for my folks 50th Anniversary. We went down to that lake tributary on the south shore where they have the interpretive site and under water viewing area... we happened to catch the kokanee festival event with all the booths and information. My daughter and two nephews had a great time hiking around checking out those fish in that small clear water!
