Terry Thomas and friends have been up on the lower Klamath River with veteran jet boat guide and owner of the Eureka Fly Shop, Mike Krysinski.

I think they caught mostly Half-pounders this trip.

They will go back in September.

**When I get retired I will be at one of the trailer parks by the mouth of the Klamath River with my jet boat from September 15 to October 15, God willing.......

Had a good trip. Fished with Mike Kuczynski (Eureka Fly Shop) for one day and Alan Borges for two days. One of the best years for half pounders in many years. Launched from Klamath Glenn and went up as far as Johnsons. Found fish in most of the normal areas. Saw some very nice adult fish. I think our best landed fish went @5 pounds. The water temp was 68-69F...pretty normal for this time of the year. After the first good rain things should kick in better.

Thanks for the report guys. With luck, larger numbers of half pounders may be a good indication of things to come? Thought Id heard it that way....
