These are woven nylon sleeves that go over your fly rod to keep the line from getting caught on everything.

These are particularly popular with the folks who fly fish from boats.

Come by and check them out.

I've been using them for protection of my rods during transit and in the panga over the last 3 years and think they're great. :D Before I started using them, I had some eyes "rubbed off" while in transport to the launching area.

Tried "Rigged N Ready" bags but found them too much trouble to use compared to the "Stick Jackets". 8)

Those seem to me to be a really good idea. I wish I'd thought of it!

Bruce turned me on to them earlier this summer. When you're got 5-6 rods rigged up in a boat it's great to keep things sorted out and to protect your rods.

Best thing i"ve done for my boat for rigged rod management. I can stack 6 rods in jackets along the gunnel and have all tips stowed within another cut(larger)jacket for complete no tangles, protection, and quick access. Worth every penny.

Like Darian, I"ve been using them in Baja, also. I thought about making my own but after checking out the price of the tubing, (which by the way is electrical wiring covering) it's not worth it. I need to pick up 5 more or leave some rods back at the room.
I like the way KD rigged them up in his boat

A great idea
