Extreme Northern Idaho

I'll be spending a week at Priest Lake Idaho in early September. My understanding is it's mostly a mackinaw fishery. Anyone know about the flyfishing opportunities on the lake or in the immediate vicinity (within an hour or so). I've fished the Kootenai a few times, so will probably head there, but want to know the options better.
