We are having a mild summer so far.

These cool night are wonderful.

This is a perfect time to get out there and fish, even down here in the flat land.

Bill, Here in Alaska, we are having a "summer without summer." Very cool and wet. Normally, I am picking peas now and this year the plants are only 12 inches high and don't even have a flower yet. The fishing is just ok because the rivers are high. My husky is just now starting to shed. The tourists are walking around in downtown Anchorage bundled up and wearing wool hats and gloves. Why, just yesterday, I heard the polar bear at the zoo was wearing his down parka.......Phil
