OTTERS, Jim Berdan, Dell Clark, Jim Ford, Andy Pennisi, Dick Thomas, Rich
Miller, Bob Steele, Robert Rountree, and yours truly, fished Caples Lake today.
Dell Clark once again led the pack, landing 24, while the rest of us thrashed
the water and got frustrated. We had some bites, but not many landed. We did
manage to land a few each, but I don't think we caught enough combined, to match
Dell. Maybe if we follow him around and video him we can learn how it's done.
I think Caples new launch ramp is really cool. Lots of parking, picnic tables,
and the DFG plants right there. $5.00 day use fee, and $10.00 to launch a boat,
float tubes and pontoon boats not included.
Nice place to visit..
