I will be heading to Denver on business the first week of October and planned on going a few days early to fish. Looking for a reputable fly fishing guide in the area that you have had experience with and any recommendations on where to fish (preferable rivers, but stillwater is not out of the question either). Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

I didnt go out with them. But the people at Kirk's Flyshop in Estes Park were great, and if I was in the area again that is the first place I would check out.

Chris,
Give a call to Charlie's Fly Box (303-403-8880) and ask for Charlie or Greg. I'm pretty sure Charlie doesn't actually guide anymore, but those guys are really helpfull and know pretty much everyone in this area. They'll definately point you in the right direction.
I'd offer to take you out fishing, but I'll be in Oregon chasing steelies at that time.
Best of luck.

Go fish the Thompson. Dont need a guide, great scenery and dry fly fishing!
