Flows have come down a bit and the McCloud River has cleared as well but continues to be limited to about two feet of visibility at Ah Di Na (http://www.shastatrout.com/fly-fishing-the-mccloud-river-remains-cloudy) (less upstream, more downstream). Fishing has been fair but hopefully will continue to improve.
Over the past few days the Upper Sac has dropped two hundred feet per day. Still quite a way from optimal summer conditions but the bugs are out and the fish are hungry so adventurous anglers have found some success.
