Greetings fellow anglers

I've decided to sell my Sage XP 890-4

This is the original and not last year's reissue from Cabela's.

Many consider the XP to be the best line of Sage rods ever made (in its class) and were/are sad they were discontinued.

9ft 8W 4-piece III3 graphite

This would make a great salmon, steelhead, bonefish, striper rod

It MAY have been fished 2-3 times

Excellent+/Near-mint condition and my evaluation is conservative

I purchased this rod from FFF Instructor, Steve Johnston back in 2005

I believe it's a factory rod but it was an award or a special order and he had his name "Stevie J" put on it by Sage at the factory.

I apologize for the very mediocre pics. I took them in a shaded area and so the graphite appears brown when in fact it is green.

There really is no wear to the rod save light rub marks along ends where they insert into ferules. Not a single scratch on anything. All guides and all wraps are perfect as is the real seat and cork handle and butt cap.

$350.00 and it's yours.

I would prefer to meet in person and exchange the rod for cash. I want you to see what you are getting before paying for it and I would rather not pay Paypal (aka, Fee-bay) fees.

You can call me at 916 764-5569
Thanks
Mark
