Here's one of the carp that was caught a couple days ago. The underwater video is a little muddy. I hope to capture better footage this week, if I can find the carp.

There are a lot this size, some are bigger and a few that are giants. I hooked into one that I would guess to tip the scale at 30lbs. Almost spooled me, I guess I better add some more backing to the reel. I was using my Loomis GLS 9' 7wt. This is the original GLX rod. I'm looking at the TFO Clouser rod for some carp fishing.. Soft action in the tip, ( great for my baja hook sets ) and power in the butt section for lifting and sideward pulling
