Looking for some information on a Hardy Fiberglass rod. It's a 8.5' rod with the Hardy label and has Jon Terantino name on it. Also, what is the price of a Hardy LRH Lightweight almost perfect condition. There's a bunch of other fishing equipment in the lot, plus she still has a garage full of equipment, both fly and conventional. Books, a ton of books. A real old book that was written by Helen Shaw

Thanks

Jay

It would be a hardy jet. Built on a blank like a jk fisher glass rod. Fisher helped hardy produce a blank making facility and terantino helped design the rods like he did on some of the fisher blank built rods from our area. Very nice casting rods and not at all heavy feeling like some of the early glass. That one will probably throw a 7wt. Grab it. Probably see it on ebay in the 100-130 range sometimes can get higher and some squeak buy lower.

The LRH is not worth much.....but I would get some really good photos of that rod and put it on an eBay auction to get top dollar for it.

If you pick up the hardy rod keep it and fish it.... Would be a great streamer rod for half pounders or larger trout. You would be surprised at how well they fish even compared to today's rods. A great rod to leave in the truck or car with a pflueger 1495.
