FTR,

I love my camo int. line, it is great for keeping your fly in the 4-5 foot range. It is THE line to have when swinging nymphs on the Fall river - I C&R a 4.5 bow there with a Jay Fair Trolling fly in leech brown at the spring creek bridge. As for still waters, you may beat that 135 fish day at Capilation with this line!

The Cortland 444 Clear Camo is our top selling clear slow sinking line @ $54.00

It was the first one that you could nail knot a butt section too.

It is clear with a green tint.

The Rio Aqualux has a welded loop on the front end and is a good clear slow sinking line too. $69.95

For lake fishing these are the most popular fly line.

I love that line. In addition to the camo attributes, it is very slippery and has very little memory so it casts great. Also, because of the very slow (1-2" per second) sink rate, it can be a great line to use on windy days, as it doesn't get blown around on the surface of the water like a floater would.

Would recommend overlining 1 weight with this line. YMMV.

The Cortland Camo has very little memory in cold water, casts very well, and looks like pond weed in the water because it is dyed multi colors. I've found that with a little patience you can fish down to about 10 feet. I would agree with JD and overload your rod by one weight as these lines true weight.

Number 1 stillwater line.

This is the number one line that I use. I love it. I like tro overline the rod once also. I recommand this line for everyone.

Another trick that I do is to soak the line in water before I go fishing. It absords the water and fishes nice all day.

Use it exclusively for intermediate applications. Love it.

I just over-lined one of my 6 weights with a 7w and this works perfectly for shad in the evenings when they're coming to the surface or just below it.

Last night the Feather came alive at 8:30PM and was non-stop till we left.
