Casting Call: A Celebration of California's Unique Trout, Steelhead and Salmon Populations
Join CalTrout and Trout Unlimited for food, fun and casting on June 15th at the State Capitol Grounds in Sacramento.
Casting Call will feature fly casting demonstrations, a chance to practice your cast, and a friendly fly casting competition between legislators, including Assemblyman Jared Huffman and State Senator Dave Cogdill.
CalTrout and TU initiated this event to highlight the plight of California's native fish and fishing.
So join us and help us get California's fish on our legislators' radar.
When: Tuesday, June 15th, 11am - 4pm
Where: California State Capitol, North Lawn, Sacramento
Free ice cream, "Chinookie" cookies and lemonade will be served.
