Went out here last weekend to pester some of the residents. BG's were on beds in several places. Our choice was to pester LM's with "frog flies". During the day we took a break from this objective and pestered a few BG's. The hoot came as we had several (3-4) occassions where the LM's would lunge in and grab your hooked BG. Now this is not a rare occassion for us and we have found ways to get the LM's to take a fly rather than the hooked fish, but it is soooo much more fun to be a party to the event and watch it come down. Last weekend we got one 4#'er all the way to the bank and our hands on him before he let go. Of the many many times we have played this game with these LM's, we have only hooked one LM's so far with the fly that was utilized in the BG. In another pond without real good visibility, we had a 10" LM completely scaled by a big LM that we never got to see.
