A suspended black wiggle tail caught a mix bag of fish today....2 spotted bass....5 rainbows...2 bluegill...11 smallmouth...with clouds, and cool temp. today almost all the fish i caught were mix together at the chimney. The bigger smallmouths that i caught came from the lower part of the lake in 11 ft. of water, and were very chunky, there must be a lot of food for them to feed on.

Excellent Gene

I think lots of the lower elevation reservoirs should be good now.

Your right Scott....i think a smallmouth is one of the strongest fighting fish we have in fresh water....a 17 inch. smallmouth from a cool mountain lake will keep you coming back for more.
