Even my high water spots are under water. There is high water on top of the high water. Crazy. I managed to land 6 in about 5 hours of fishing. Lost a few as well. Almost all on stones, a couple just hanging the line downstream in a promising slot.
I guess the good thing is that not too many folks will be headed this way.
One thing I've noticed is that the rough winter put a lot of dead fall and debris in the river. That means lots of snags and lots of offerings made to the River Gods.
I went out this evening to see if anything would be looking up... TONS of bugs in the air... tons... and zero snouts... just too much water.
