Yuba Is Blown Out

I just posted on the striper section about the Yuba coming up today to 5200cfs around 3:00PM today. I just checked again and at 8:00PM it's running at almost 6500cfs.

I guess with this warm weather finally here, they're preparing for a huge snow-melt.

Obviously the reservoirs in the Yuba watershed have to be dumped to handle the runoff, but I can't help thinking that the dam operator had a smerk on his face and thought , 'You want water for your fish? I'll give you f------ water.' as he pushed the button.

The Truckee is big and brown with lots of snow still in the hills. Nice to see.

The Upper Sac is 4410 cfs......Too bad So Cal does not need it... They have pumps for when it is convienient for them... Right now it just goes to SF Bay.......
