The new Department of Fish and Game Director, John McCamman, will be presenting to the the Sac-Sierra Trout Unlimited chapter what he sees as the priorities for the CADFG in 2010. He will also discuss what he thinks are the biggest challenges California fisheries face in 2010, and how anglers and sportsmen can help the DFG achieve the goal of restoring salmon and steelhead populations in CA. Finally, director McCamman has also agreed to an open Q&A session at the end of the presentation.
It should be a very interesting presentation and discussion, as well as an opportunity to have some of those questions, that we've all been asking, finally answered.
The meeting is open to the public and will be held at the Sylvan Oaks public library in Citrus Heights from 7:30 pm to 9:30pm on Thursday June 3rd:
