Anyone fish Indian Creek Res.??

How is the fishing? I would imagine it is ice free by now? Last year someone posted a pic of a lady whom caught a nice brownie there. Also heard you can access the East Carson from there and be about 4 miles in from Hangmans bridge. Where is the trail? Well marked?

In talking to the guys at Reno Fly Shop they said the E. Carson is flowing around 1200, and good fishing is 500 or less.

Anyone been there lately? Rosachi ranch area. Would like to go. I have heard that the "miracle mile" is alot of hype, yes, it is good but you could be elbow to elbow with fellow fly fisherman. I would give up the big dogs any day for some solitude but decent fishing. Heard to fish the whole river as there is good fishing maybe at times better than the "miracle mile" area throughout the river, and the NV side is just as good without the crowds. Luckily for me I am able to fish during the week, and avoid the weekends most of the time unless I fish with my wife.
