Phil Brna all the way from Alaska. Really nice toro. Back at the Hotel La Concha, they
tried to make the comforts of home but the themostat only went to 62 degress, not "0"

Mike Scott also from Alaska with a nice Toro caught at Punta Pella

This is Punta Pella, almost to the north end of Isla Cerralvo. this is where the bait is along with jacks & roosters

A school of ballyhoo being chased by a school of dorado. Look how far we have to travel for dorado. Maybe 200 yards from the beach.

Jay's hosted group trips to La Paz are one of the best in Baja and a real bargain too.

These trips are good for "first timers" to salt water fly fishing as well as veterans.

Next time I go I will have to take Marilyn with me.

A kilo of carne, a kilo of cerdo, pickled onions, uff dah. Amazing Roosters. Now I know why Ramon was unimpressed with my results.

Bill you and Marilyn definitely have to make the trip. I want to see her pulling on a rooster.
I will be posting my trip schedule in July or August for the 2011 season. I'm working on the cost and reservations this week. I've already been told a price increase is coming for next year but I plan on keeping the same price as this year.
It looks like I have the first couple weeks of May 2011 with some spots already booked. Most everyone who has been here are booking for next year.

Bill, you might recognize the two guys with the roosters and jacks. Both you and Andy helped them get ready for this trip. It was definitely high marks for Kiene's Fly shop.
I'll have to get you stocked up with some white knights and sardina patterns.

John, Ramon talks about the "one that got away". Remember the one that straightened out your hook.

It's nice to have time off but "boring". I can't wait until the group arrives on Saturday.

that's a great looking snook in the other post. I might take a trip to Pichilingue to see if I can find a boat to take me into the mangroves. The people who went to dinner that night knows what I'm talking about

Saludos
