Hey Fishers,
This month we present Lance Gray, who some of you know from last June's Lake Almanor outing where he teamed up with brother Lincoln for the Lake Almanor Fly Fishing School. As a bonus, Lincoln is coming as co-speaker too!!! They will team up to present "Stillwater Fly Fishing - Northern California" where they will reveal locations and techniques on many great known and not-so-known stillwaters around NorCal. Don't miss this one, it should be awesome!
The May meeting on Tuesday May 25th at Holmes Jr. High will be preceded by both Sam Yee's monthly casting clinic and the FFD Yard Sale at 6:30 pm. The meeting will begin in earnest at 7:30 pm.
On another subject, I am getting re-located to the mid-west sometime by September, so I need to find an apprentice to train to take over the club's newsletter. It isn't as hard as it looks, and I fashion myself a great teacher. It takes some commitment and organization ability, but is also great fun and rewarding. You don't have to be in the directors or officers to do this, though the position will qualify you to come to the monthly board meetings on the first Tuesdays of the month.
