At first I was real weary about joining a club, but now that I have been with Granite Bay Flycasters I am real happy I joined. I have meet a lot of new friends and have learned a good amount from the knowledge that exists in a club.

Generally speaking, is the GBFC calendar up to date? I'm looking to stop by one of the meetings (there appears to be one Thursday I believe) at some point. Would that be the best way to check the schedule? thanks.

Yes, the calendar is up to date and general meetings are always the 2nd Thursday of the month...:nod:

Come on out this Thursday Dean, it really is a great group of people. If you show up either ask for me or look for my name tag, we all wear tags which is real helpful since I can never remember a persons name.
