I was up there about a week and a half ago and it was blown, with super high flows. It should have went down a little since then.

Same as above. Some areas are fishable, but I wouldn't recomend it if you are traveling any amount of distance until the flows come down, which they may have by now. Also check the wind, that canyon was very windy when I was there two weeks ago.

Check this link next time you go: http://www.americanwhitewater.org/content/Gauge2/detail/id/49034/

This shows the flow for the lower river, but is a good indicator for the river higher up. I think the Cresta/Rock Creek sections are now running ~300-350 cfs after the FERC relicensing.

Usually below Poe Power Dam the flows are consistant. At Tobin, it was high a few weeks ago, but not too bad. The fish were in the sides where the water was 3-4 ft deep.

The fish are all wild below the Rock Creek Dam. Definitely use at least a 5wt, with the heavy flows you'll have a tough time landing fish with anything less. Catch and Release Only!!

I use a Sage 3-4 wt LL graphite 4, no problems landing fish.

Flows lately have been up around 500cfs at Rock Ck. Was up last weekend and caught a few fish, but the flows are too high for really having a great day. Normal flows are around 340 or so. I'd go elsewhere until the flows drop.

And one more thing.....dude, bring the 5wt. You will get your clock cleaned on a 4wt with these fish. They are big and very hot. Trust me.....
