2 galvan OB's and one orvis reel.

1. Orvis Battenkill original 5/6 reel, with wf-5 line on it. This reel has a rough spot on the spool that creaks a little when reeling. Its still functional but could use a little work with a dremel tool to make it perfect.
Im offering this reel for FREE. Dont want any money for it, it deserves to go to a kid or someone just getting into fly fishing. PM me if you know someone who could use it to get into a reel affordably. like I said the reel isnt perfect but with a little work, it can be made to work perfectly. If you want to send me a few bucks for shipping, that would be great. (GONE TO A GOOD HOME ALREADY)

pics show the light scratching on the spool and back of reel, slight cosmetic scratching but reel works perfectly. Spooled with Backing already, comes with original pouch and box.

Used $190 shipped UPS. Excellent shape, small scratching not much at all, runs like a swiss watch.

Just a suggestion on the Battenkill. I had one a few years ago that developed a bind in the spool. Spare spool was fine. Sent it to Orvis. The spool was bent, apparently from being dropped? Anyway, even though it was at least 15 years old, they fixed it for $20.

appreciate it, I think it can be fixed quite easily, just haven't used it in years with all the other reels I have. I figure it needed a good home where someone would fish it. Found a beginner who needed it already. I have had excellent service from Orvis though, several times, so I echo your sentiment.
