What a difference a day makes. A gentle west wind this morning which turned north by mid morning. It put the fish down and even the conventional boys had trouble putting fish in the freezer.
But we did have one fly guy catch a 45lb+ rooster at the beach.... Needless to say, he's wearing a smile from ear to ear. I regret that I wasn't in the boat at the time. Maybe it was better that way.
Tomorrow I'm venturing out on my own in search of the 100lb rooster but first stop will be a shot at marlin and dorado. I'll be recording withmy Gopro mounted with the chest harness.
