It looks like we might actually be seeing the end of winter, hopefully with no more rain till fall?
Bass and pan-fish should go wide open now with May being a smokin hot month.
Shad should get going more in the Lower American River now too.
Stripers should be in all the rivers too.
Trout fishing in lakes and steams should be getting better too. Naturally this depends on the flows and water temps of each fishery.
We still have Half-pounder Steelhead and resident trout on the feed in most valley rivers.
