Some have asked how I got on this list. I just e-mailed M.r Yaworsky at rpyaworsky@usbr.gov and requested to be added to the "Nimbus Release Change" notification distribution list.

It took several weeks before I began getting the notices, but it sure has helped with planning conservation activities etc.

I submitted a request to be added to the email distribution list and this the reply I got:

To keep our Email notification lists at a manageable number and avoid being overwhelmed with response messages, the Central Valley Operations Office prefers to limit release notifications to agencies, contractors working in the floodway, and representatives of other pertinent groups.

The latest release change notifications for the American and other rivers are updated regularly and posted on several websites. I recommend bookmarking the following websites:

Sacramento District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers:
