If you happen to have any 1' Oar Extensions that will fit my cataraft oars please let me know. Two would be nice, three would be ideal.

If you have any of the mesh type stripping baskets that ultimately did not work well for you and you returned to a rigid stripping basket let me know. I might be interested in taking the non rigid stripping basket(s) off your hands. I need to add a stripping basket system to the front and rear lean bars of my cataraft to aid the anglers in clean line management. We've found a lot of places that can snag up a fly line and my friend believes a stripping basket will fix 80% or more of the problems.

Let me know what you might have. Thank you.

I have one of the Outcast stripping baskets that I bought and have actually never used. I was going to try to use it in a float tube but it wouldn't work for that. It has been sitting unused ever since in my pile of fishing mistakes.

Is that the kind of think you are looking for?

Michael,

How much would you like for it?

I have that exact same basket and have used it wade fishing. If you'll part with yours and be willing to ship it up here to me 98346 then I'll try to make a matched pair front and back.

I think I'm resourceful enough to make that work.

Thanks.

Ed

I hung a mesh laundry basket from rite aid on the front of my cataraft and it worked really well. Cost is about 3.50, and I hung it with velcro so I can pull it off when I'm transporting the boat. Here's a pic:

Thanks K Trout, I can do that. Nice badcat by the way, is that what it is?

Thanks!

It's an NRS cataraft, 14 footer. If I was doing it again I'd get the 16 footer, although I can fish two of this one comfortably. Very stable, and easy to row. We used to break it down and put in on my old maxima, so it's pretty portable.

Michael,

How much would you like for it?

Twenty bucks plus shipping? It's unused and I believe I paid $35 for it.

Michael, that is a great deal, but I'm going to pass. I got a message from a gent who just replaced his lean bars and they came with new stripping baskets. He's passing his old ones that have seen very little use on to me. I'm set for now. Thank you again. Ed
