do a tadpole with a white foam pull over, with a chartreuse body and white tail, also a bugger in pink with a white tail and hackle. Good luck Victor

Files for Pyramid.... :question: I usually use a 4 in hand file myself but neven at Pyramid.... :rolleyes:

OK, seriously, Those flies look good and will work fine at Pyramid. One observation: the marabou tail on the tadpole (beatle) pattern appears too thick. Andy Burk used to tie them with a few wisps of marabou and said that it worked better when sparsely tied. :cool:

Tadpole tail: yup, a bit thick. I'll yank some off. Thanks for the suggestions -I have all the materials.

One of many valuable things I learned from Brian Chan was tie it sparse,,,,then thin it. The sparser the marabou, the more lively it is in the water.

Also, try to make the tails more ragged. Dont cut them but rather rip them to length with your finger tips.

Yup, I plan on "tearing 'em up" a bit before fishing them. My most recent (including the pink and white) ones are torn.
