On my trip in September to Yellowstone I plan to stop and fish the middle fork of the Provo for a couple days. Can anyone suggestion some campgrounds in the area, preferably an rv park.

As always, thanks for any info.

Don't know about campgrounds, but contact Western Rivers in Salt Lake. 800-545-4312 or 801-521-6424. Nice shop that should have all the info you need.

The restoration done to that section of the river where they recreated a "natural" river out a straight-run ditch is simply amazing. You also have some great, and much less crowded, options by going through Idaho instead.

Hi Scott, I fished the Provo about 4 or 5 years ago with Guide Mark Forslund owner of four Season Fly Shop in Heber City Utah. Mark was awesome and knows the river very well. He's morman but as he says non practicing, he smokes and drinks.

If I remember correctly there is a lake called strawberry resevoir that may have Rv Camping.

Also you should try to fish the Gallatin and Henry's fork. I have never fished the Yellowstone but I sure would like to.

Riverside Campground near island Park Id on Henry's Fork has R V sites.
