Silver Fork road conditions

I have been trying to get good info on Silver Fork Rd conditions. Anyone have a site that will tell me. Cal trans was not alot of help.

It says high clearance vehicles only and the gate is closed when conditions are poor.

If you are taking mormon emigrant trail, there are 2 gates, it could mean the gate just past sly park, or the gate just before HWY 88. Last year, going up to silver, we made it almost to 88 (like 25 mi.) to discover the gate closed. I couldn't get very far past silver fork rd last march, but I think SF rd is accessible from 88 if you are going that route.
