New for 2010 Rajeff Sports is proud to announce the
Airflo Tactical Steel Head shooting spey line.

Tim Rajeff and Dec Hogan have done it again! With their combined efforts they have designed and engineered a new spey line that could quite possibly be the easiest casting, most versatile line there is. Ease and versatility equate to more productive time presenting flies to fish! Which equates to more fun on the water.

The basis for the new Airflo Tactical Steel Head takes the tight loop casting ease of the Scandi Compact and couples it to the versatility of the acclaimed Delta Multi-tip line. The smooth front taper is a larger diameter than a Scandi line thus expanding the range of fly size that can be cast. It casts large flies with ease. The 8-foot removable tip left on makes for what we feel is the finest floating, shooting-style spey line available on the market today. What’s more, the floating tip is ridged which greatly makes for better “anchor stick.” Any of Airflo’s Poly Leaders ranging from Floating to Extra Super Fast can quickly be attached to the smooth, heavy-duty loop of the floating tip. The floating tip can also be removed to add sink-tips of your choice. Moderate to fast sink rates in 8 to 13 feet are optimum.

It has been said that these new lines are excellent for beginning casters, and it’s true they are very easy to cast. The advanced caster, however, will find these lines a joy to cast and be able to take full advantage of their limitless taper design. They are slightly longer than the typical Skagit line allowing the caster to feel and enjoy the dynamics of true “casting” with shootability of a Skagit.

The Tactical Steel Head is mint green in color, looped at both ends, and made on a low-stretch 30 lb core. Attach it to a running line; add a Poly Leader or sink-tip and head to the river. The new lines come in five sizes that cover 5 to 9 weight:

#5 is 390 grains 37 feet long.

#6 is 460 grains and 38 feet long.

#7 is 520 grains and 39 feet long.

#8 is 590 grains and 40 feet long.

#9 is 660 grains and 41 feet long.

$59.99 for head with looped 8 foot floating tip.
