Spring fly fishing is here now.....

If you look around this BB you will see that bass & panfish are being caught in ponds.

Small Steelhead and some resident trout are feeding on bugs in all valley rivers now too.

Stripers and Shad are out in the Sacramento River right now headed north to spawn.

Trout are feeding shallow in most all lower elevation lakes and reservoirs right now too.

April/May/June is just a wonderful time at low to medium elevations for fly fishing for most everything that has fins and lips.

Get some tackle stashed in your vehicle so you can get out somewhere after work for a few hours.

It's time to go fly fishing.............

Bill I carry gear in my car all the time just for days like today. Got an email from my teacher saying class is canceled for tonight, so that means I get to hit my local little pond for some topwater bluegill action.
