Due to my recently having been laid off, I am selling off stuff that isn't critical to my survival.

This is a terrific 7 weight outfit, suitable for steelhead, larger trout, bass, or schoolie stripers. The extra length of the rod is great if you fish from a float tube or other "close to the water" floating device. This outfit consists of the following, and would cost over $1200 to purchase new. All items are in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition, and were all purchased within the last 12 months new.

Sage VT2 796-4 Fly rod with padded tube. 9'6", four piece, medium fast action. Street price is $490, will sell alone for $299 or as part of this complete outfit.

Galvan Rush R-6 Reel. These are super high quality reels, made in Sonora California. Street price is $260

Galvan Rush R-6 Extra Spools (2). Street price is $121 each.

Rio Grande WF7 Floating line. Street price is $69.95

Rio Lake WF7 Type III Sinking line. Street price is $69.95

Cortland Camo WF7 Intermediate line. Street price is $55.00

20lb dacron backing on all spools (about $30 worth on the three spools)

I would prefer to sell this as a package. I would be willing to sell the rod alone for $299, and the reels and spools and lines for $359, or the whole mess for $599. I will not sell the reel, extra spools and / or lines separately.

This stuff is located in San Francisco. I can take PayPal, you pay shipping, or come pick it up in SF.
